SportsHD Productions, Inc. is the nation's first sports-based, high definition-focused television production company.
The company was created to meet the anticipated exponential growth of HDTV and address the dearth of sports-oriented HD programming.
SportsHD develops programming in both high definition and standard definition and specializes in "docu-sports" projects that combine the best of documentary and traditional sports programming. The company has also developing a niche in the area of enhanced delayed event coverage. SportsHD features capture the drama, competitor interaction, and physical, mental and emotional ups and downs of athletic competition. Many of the company's projects are shot in exotic locales. SportsHD's access to key figures in the sports world-combined with the intimacy HD technology allows-permits viewers to "get inside" the world of sports like never before.

Mile High Sports TV
SportsHD was hired produces the Mile High Sports TV show. Mile High Sports is a leading sports media company in the region with magazine, online and radio station assets in addition to the TV show. Mile High Sports TV is a magazine-type sports show that covers the latest in sports happenings within the regional. The show airs multiple times each month on Altitude Sports and Entertainment and Comcast Channel 5. World University Games: Triumph in Izmir
Recently completing its run on Fox College Sports, this series is a behind-the-scenes look at the pageantry and compelling moments from the Games, including exclusive interviews with athletes, coaches, officials and administrators, along with unique behind-the-scenes moments from this huge international competition. USA Basketball: Drive for Gold
Recently completing its run on Mojo (nee INHD), this series told the compelling story of how Team USA came together for an inspiring three-week run resulting in the Gold Medal at the World University Games in Izmir, Turkey. Series featured behind-the-scenes footage from the team trials at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. In the huddle access, compelling one-on-one player and coach interviews, and fully "mic'd" coaches during tournament games in Turkey set this series apart. All shot in beautiful High Definition.
Nuggets Fast Break and Avalanche Alert
Altitude Sports and Entertainment, the official television network of the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets, contracted with SportsHD to produce two weekly magazine-style shows for Altitude. The Avalanche show was entitled "Avalanche Alert!" and the Nuggets show was called "Nuggets Fastbreak." Both shows featured key highlights from the previous week's games, compelling interviews with players, coaches and administrators, human interest stories featuring players away from the ice and hardwood, and glimpses of team activities in the community.
Jeep Terrain Park Challenge Championships
The Jeep Terrain Park Challenge challenges amateur skiers and snowboarders to bring their best moves to the nation's vast expanding terrain parks – areas full of jumps, rails and other obstacles. Participants were whittled down to the top 24 athletes through six Regional Qualfiers and resulted in the elite culmination of talent at Sugar Bowl Resort.
SportsHD produced a one-hour, nationally syndicated special covering the national championships at Sugar Bowl.

SportsHD also has extensive experience beyond the television box – our youth sports online video community (SportZu.tv) includes over 2,400 minutes of content produced by SportsHD and we have also produced video podcasts in a variety of sports and non-sports fields.
Additionally, SportsHD has produced a variety of instructional sports DVDs.
